Ethical Recovery Coaching Course
Peer-based recovery support services play a crucial role in response to the current addiction epidemic.
Thousands of Recovery Coaches have been trained across the nation utilizing the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy curriculum. The issue of ethics in peer-based service delivery is briefly discussed in the Recovery Coach Academy; this two day training more fully addresses this critical aspect of our work.
Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches addresses many areas including:
- Defining the coaching service role and functions
- Coaching standards
- Issues of vulnerability,
- Ethical decision making,
- Performance enhancement and legal issues.
This course will help Recovery Coaches maintain good boundaries when serving others.
